Reminds me of a JoePa comment about a “smoke and mirrors” offense…

Asked this on pun board too, looking forward to responses.

Early 2000’s, looked good in first few games then went in the toilet. Joe openly said that the offense was successful early because it was “smoke and mirrors” that couldn’t work against better competition. Ended up moving Eddie Drummond to Tb from WR, ran an “elephant” backfield for rest of season.

At least that offense looked good for a few games. What is/are the deficiency(ies) that Kotelnicki is trying to mask? OL and QB are my first thoughts, but I know more about the Blue Band and VB than football.

Thanks in advance!

WRs are weak (again!)

They are so fundamentally unsound in every aspect on offense. That is - IMO - a direct fallout of Cute-elnicki.
