I think it will be interesting to see what he can do. He was always good at recruiting NYC. That presents a very unique situation.

Seemed like we discussed him a couple of years ago about getting another college coaching job and I think we all agreed he would end up somewhere. Iona is not a bad job. We shall see. OFC

Just my opinion only, and not talking about Morals, likability or anything else, but for me, he’s a top 5 x and 0 coach of the last 30 years. He’s a motivator and can win games l. His teams play hard in both ends

Great coach like most of you said but what happened at Louisville will never land him another big time job, and shouldn't imo.

Iona is in the epicenter of Corona in Westchester County NY. Good luck to Rick and his recruits. Do not sneeze.

Same here! I hold no hard feelings at Pitino and his years at UK was some of the best/fun years of my life. Always wondered what could’ve been had he not left. Best of luck to him!

Most KY fans hate him, but I do not. Is he a great guy? Nah, but he’s one hell of a coach. He doesn’t leave Kentucky and he’s sitting on at least 3 titles by now. Maybe 4-5.

And how many of those titles would be vacated? At least 3 maybe 4 or 5. OFC

The first one wasn’t vacated? He didn’t have to cheat here.

He just didn't get caught. His resume is full of scandals. UK has a way of finding coaches with questionable integrity a d character with apologies to Tubby Smith who got railroaded out of UK. At least he had integrity. You didn't even start your post with " I come in peace. " Get out of here with that crap. OFC

Look, I’m not here looking for a fight. I’ve posted here quite a few times. I’m not baiting or being rude. Chill the hell out.

By the way, those are some good looking kids. Not meaning that condescendingly, either.

You can't debate his X and O bonafides, but I think he has pretty well established the amount of integrity he operates with. And since everything came to light, all he has done is play the victim.

I agree he is and always has been a great X and O coach. The thing is he still would have been that if he had integrity and good character to go along with it. OFC
