I see this different I guess. I see Baylor's results being tied to OU's results. Baylor is being propped up in the rankings because OU isn't getting the job done. OU has made some serious changes in Coaches and philosophy. If this works out, OU will move up and Baylor will move down.Originally posted by rhSooner:
never said I wanted to swap classes, that was your thought. So he needs to learn to play oline at D1 level, the majority of the hs kids recruited to D1 programs, regardless of position, need to be coached up and learn technique. And you are correct about Muleshoe, Riley is not from Muleshoe, he's from OK. Baylor saw enough raw talent, and size, which you cannot coach, to give the kid a scholarship. considering Baylor's average at best recruiting rating the last five years, it sure hasn't translated to poor results, so it's puzzling Riley didn't get an offer from his home state top tier program. and I'm not saying it's wrong or right, just puzzling. maybe no one believed he could be coached up, who knows? Baylor damn sure didn't mind taking a chance on a big kid who needs to learn, Baylor's success can't be denied, regardless of where their recruits are from. And buddy I am no fan of Art Briles or Baylor. I would prefer he was still coaching hs.

Good for you Jaaa may your missive be made law.I never said OU should sign every OK kid regardless of talent, you reading comprehension is off. Just pointed out one player from OK that Baylor signed and now it's turned into every kid over 6'3 280 in OK. I got it. As for Baylor recruiting tactics, man you're blowing some smoke without any fire for proof, so don't mind if I take your "insight" with a grain of salt. My father's bulls latest heifer heard the same thing, but she too was sworn to secrecy.
