Offensive Lineman... the weight they need to put on and the stress that puts on the body is insane. I crossed paths with Larry many times over the years and he was a massive human being. I have been friends over the years with a handful of guys who played OL in the NFL (Todd Rucci being one) and if you see them now you would not recognize them. Most of them loss 80+ pounds almost immediately. I don't think Larry took that course. Tragic, 52 is way too young for sure.

I always wondered about him and a few others who play at that weight. Enormous guy and talented but didn’t seem healthy.

No doubt. Some guys have to work full time to keep that anchor. You see Alan Faneca now and your jaw drops
