It's very sad. Yes what she did was extremely dangerous and dumb, but she paid a big price for it and will be remembered for this. I feel for her son.

Bit of a shitshow way to end things. No one has thought of Anne Heche in 20 years and suddenly she what, got drunk, hit a structure, tried to escape the scene by speeding away, slammed into a house which caused a fire and left her in the condition that ended her life. Still not as bizarre as Anton Yelchin dying from his vehicle being in reverse and crushing him against his own fence.

I don't wish ill on anyone (with a few exceptions). But, Ann Heche was a very minor 'celebrity', wasn't she? I mean, she had a few roles here and there but, imo, she was never a major star. Plus, she ends up passing away because she was driving extremely recklessly while under the influence of drugs, apparently, and it was fortunate that multiple people weren't killed by her recklessness. Again, I'm not celebrating her death and, at some level, feel some sympathy for her. But, bottom line, she did this to herself and for the media to make this into some sort of 'great loss' to the entertainment community and promote her as some kind of heroic figure is nonsense. She killed herself due to drug abuse. Not very heroic in my mind. I would equate her to one of the hundreds of rock and rollers who weren't particularly well known who died of drug overdoses.

She was second, maybe third tier, but I do think she deserves to be on the Paddock RIP series.

The lower the tier, the better.

Some people I've put on here that I thought were fifth or sixth tier were actually well known in segments of society. Nipsey Hussle for instance.

She had some big roles. I liked her in Donnie Brasco. Also, if what she says is true about her upbringing.. woof. She had a BAD childhood.

You could say that about a lot of people who don't kill themselves driving 80 mph through a residential area.

A lot of crazy going on with her and, admittedly, some/a lot of it may have been due to upbringing. She had the money and opportunity to overcome it, imo. Sadly, she didn't.
