Bad news. Loved Aretha - still have a lot of her music on my Spotify account and listen to it often. One of my favorites was her rendition of the Beatles hit "Elanor Rigby":

One of the greatest voices ever. Could literally sing anything. The soul and feeling she put into her voice was unmatched. If there truly are choirs in heaven, they just got better. RIP, Queen of Soul.
Not gonna lie. Shed a few tears when I heard that she passed. I was a child of the 60’s. Whenever she put out a new album, it was being played on our stereo within a week.
