I remember the tag team feud between Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Brown Sugar vs. the Fabulous Ones, great times.
I do have to say, I grew up with the old Memphis wrestling and it was the best ever.

Celebrity deaths usually don’t even get a second glance from me, but have to say reading some of the tributes this evening got me a little teary eyed. I guess it’s because it was such a big part of my youth in the mid 80’s. I listen to a ton of podcasts and read a lot of books on the rough life of the guys from that era, humanizes them from the invincible persona I believed as a kid.
Pretty sure I drug my pops to every JCP event at Freedom Hall in JC and Roanoke Civic Center from 84-87. Quite a few in Greensboro, Norfolk, and Richmond as well including Starrcade 86.
