Love the old Territory days. The top 3 were JCP, Mid-South, & Memphis.

BE by all accounts was not only one of the best workers but one of the nicest guys outside the ring.

Cornette told me once it’s not hyperbole: Bobby Eaton is/was the nicest guy in wrestling and the one person no one has anything bad to say

Celebrity deaths usually don’t even get a second glance from me, but have to say reading some of the tributes this evening got me a little teary eyed. I guess it’s because it was such a big part of my youth in the mid 80’s. I listen to a ton of podcasts and read a lot of books on the rough life of the guys from that era, humanizes them from the invincible persona I believed as a kid.

Pretty sure I drug my pops to every JCP event at Freedom Hall in JC and Roanoke Civic Center from 84-87. Quite a few in Greensboro, Norfolk, and Richmond as well including Starrcade 86.
