Chick was an absolute legend, particularly great with Return to Forever but in many other guises as well. I saw him in concert less than two years ago with Bela Fleck. RIP.

I can't believe you didn't go with this.

Such a genius at a young age. Gone way too soon. RIP
Damn, I missed it.... and that drawing is actually part of my collection.

I am 95% Foghorn and 5% Egghead.... Somedays the struggle is real.

Damn, I was hoping to get a steal in my fantasy baseball draft this year. Another tragic offseason in Major League Baseball.

Top 10 jazz pianist of all-time. The only ones I would definitely rank ahead of him are:

Art Tatum - Tatum honestly deserves a separate category. He was THAT much better than everyone else, before or since. From another planet.

Thelonious Monk

Bud Powell

Oscar Peterson - (Art Tatum light. Nobody could match Tatum, but I actually LIKE Oscar's playing more)

Herbie Hancock

Bill Evans

Good post. The only other one I would put on this list is Keith Jarrett.
