Big loss. People will go on about Blood Meridian but I remember reading The Road before the movie came out and thought that was a terrific read.
After seeing pics like this I totally understand why she is considered an expert on vaccines and Autism.
Thought Blood Meridian was not very good but No Country. The Road and the Border Trilogy are modern classics

I got really depressed after reading The Road and didn’t make the connection for several weeks. I can’t bring myself to watch the movie, there’s just no way it could do the novel justice.
If you are not depressed after reading The Road, you must be Jeffrey Dahmer.
Just read The Road last year.
Certainly not for someone looking for a fun, happy read, but VERY good.
