I was a teenager during Starsky and Hutch TV show, and I wanted their Gran Torino so bad…

The model year after the show made it big, ford made 1000-1300 with that paint scheme. There was one in Paducah that was a daily driver back in the early-mid 80s. I would notice it on my school bus route. As a kid, the first time you saw it was like seeing a celebrity.

It looked wore out like most 70s cars looked in the 80s. I wonder if it made it past the crusher?
