Sad. The Last Waltz is probably the best concert documentary ever made. I've probably watched it 30 times over the years.

Listen to a lot of Pods on music from early 60's to mid 80's. So many people credit them for advancing the music from the 60's on. Clapton said when he heard Big Pink that music was changed and they all had to catch up.

Their cover of Springsteen's Atlantic City is also incredible.
The bass riff at the beginning of Don’t Do It is the best five seconds in Rock n’ Roll.
It's axiomatic that any Springsteen song is exponentially better when, you know, Springsteen isn't performing it.
To be fair, when they covered Dylan songs, it's not really a cover, because they were Dylan's band. Which pretty much makes them, THEIR songs (performance-wise)
It's impossible to overstate how much impact they had on the music scene at a time when everything was faux electric sitars and endless, pointless drum solos. Just amazing musicianship. Two incredible live albums in "Rock of Ages" and "The Last Waltz." Had the pleasure of seeing them at a stadium concert in Cleveland in 1975.
