One of the best baseball players I ever saw, Jose Altuve reminds me a lot of Joe, clearly one of the all time Reds. What was the cause of death?

Damn, 2020 continues to suck big time.

Well, not many left.

Of the legends we still have Whitey Ford (91), Willie Mays (89), Henry Aaron (86), and Sandy Koufax (84).

Some other notables are Tommy Lasorda (93), Whitey Herzog and Maury Wills (88), Bob Ueker (86), Brooks Robinson (83), Gaylord Perry (82), Phil Niekro and Carl Yastrzemski (81), and Pete Rose (79 -- almost every single member of the Big Red Machine's over 70 now).

Who's next? :/

I can't joke about this one. I well remember the Big Red Machine of the 70s. Went to many games at the old Riverfront Stadium. Morgan considered by many the best 2nd basemen of all time.
