I was very sad for the 5 seconds it took me to realize it wasn't this guy.

Yeah, I had no clue either. I thought it was this guy when I saw the name.
Finally. No more damned commercials of her sad *** song with abused animals being shown.
Guy never missed a show in like 40 years until last week. And he died.
Was a great show that as a kid got me interested in politics in a way I hadn't thought was possible at the time. Guessing many others had a similar reaction.

Can't believe the guy died. Seemed way too young to go. Must've been some kind of gang war thing.

Damn I thought the same exact thing.
Used to watch his show in a political science class. Guy was good as his job and did it forever. RIP dude
I watch The McLaughlin Group almost every week. (It is scheduled to be shown on Friday evening, but it airs in Atlanta on Sunday mornings.)
I agree that his appearance (and apparently his health) had visibly deteriorated.
