Haven't read much about his death, but what was the cancer he had?

I spoke briefly to another famous bass player this week. Asked him if he ever met Lemmy and he said he did years ago. Paused and said he really lived his life the way he wanted to.

Cancer may be what got him but he had been in poor health for awhile, quitting shows mid concert and was just not doing well. A lifetime of hard living
