ha, so I found where the clip I had linked earlier came from. Apparently, it was from @fairgambit's favorite show as a kid, "I've Got a Secret."


Yes. It was a favorite show and the very 1st one I remember was in 1956 or 57. I was 7 or 8 but fascinated by the Civil War. They had on the last living survivor to Lincoln's Assassination. I don't remember much of the details but the fact that someone was at Ford's Theater and was still alive was overwhelming to me at such a young age.

Speaking of being surprised that someone is still alive. How about Harrison Ruffin Tyler, the grandson of 10th president John Tyler. As far as I know, he's still alive. He was in 2023. Fascinating.
