He was of a different era when you could be ashamed of your children until their differences proved to be valuable.

My dad and I watched Richard Donner's Superman on television in the '80s many, many times. We don't have much in common when it comes to our tastes in film, but we've always seen eye to eye on Superman and Superman II, and I'm grateful for that. :)

The Goonies might be the movie that I've watched the most with friends, Scrooged is my favorite Bill Murray movie (or at the very least it's tied with Ghostbusters), and The Twilight Zone's Nightmare at 20,000 Feet was my introduction to the awesome work of Richard Matheson. I've never seen a Lethal Weapon movie, though.

Anyway, /rambling. Rest in peace, Mr. Donner.

Whenever I'm asked for a name at a restaurant I usually use Donner. I love hearing the loudspeaker calling out Donner party.

I used Hitler once and it really pissed off a couple of PhDs that were with me. Relax guys not all Hitler's were bad. There have to be some people with the name Hitler that are good people, just because one Hitler was bad doesn't make every Hitler bad.
