Tim Conway, Comedian and ‘Carol Burnett Show’ Star, Dies at 85

CREDIT: BEI/REX/SHUTTERSTOCK

Tim Conway, the agile comedian who was a core member of the “The Carol Burnett Show” troupe and starred in string of Disney film comedies in the 1970s, died Tuesday morning in Los Angeles. He was 85.

A rep for Conway tells Variety he died from water on the brain.

Some of the funniest bits ever shown on TV included Tim Conway as part of the ensemble cast of The Carol Burnett Show.

This one hurts. One of the greats.

Apparently they would rehearse all day with Conway following the script. Then the show would start and he would ad lib throwing everyone off.

Tim was/is my all time favorite comedian.(Chappelle is a close second)

Tim was also a huge horse racing fan, another thing I liked about him.
