Despite UK's 3 recruits totally dominating @ the Army AA Bowl, based on virtually every other report/media source/talent evaluator (Michigan's Harbaugh even offered K Daniel based on his performance @ the event), UK isn't even listed as one of the top 10 schools by Rivals. ??? I'm at a loss for words...

I think there is still another reevaluation to come, and sounds like all three should get a jump, not saying it will happen. But we wouldn't go to the top ten regardless, other teams with too much depth and we will fall more when the powers fill out their classes. Still an excellent and surprising class for UK, and a chance for it to add some good talent with the excellent showing by these three commits.

Sorry, have to apologize, just read your link and that is ridiculous, seven of the ten best classes on the East (seemed to have reversed the teams location wise) and several with only one commit in the game when the West dominated the game, in large part due to the play of our three commits.

Not even in the top ten, what a joke.

Only 2 OLs were even mentioned in this article. Only 1 actually got a shout out and the other mentioned only as part of Stanford's 4 man class.. These type games are for the skill guys and defenders. UK knows what they got, that's all that matters.

Peace

This is a list of top 10 performances (by schools) @ the Army AA Bowl, not a top 10 class ranking. I agree that UK won't be a top 10 class, but UK's 3 recruits did awfully well @ the AAA Bowl.

As far as a ratings bump... 247 is almost certainly going to give them a bump. We will see about Rivals, but I'm losing hope in them giving our kids a bump after reading this article.

See my edit to my post, I had to apologize once I read your link, and I did misinterpret your top ten list.

Fully in agreement with both your posts now that I took time read the link.

As others posters have said before, rivals goes where the money goes. They are not going to leave some of their top dogs off.

Remember that the AA game is a 24/7 sponsored event. Rivals is there, but only because they have to be. UA games is a official Rivals event. Would be interesting comparing what % of Rivals 5-stars played in the AA vs. UA game.

What a complete joke. They touted Jonathan Cooper for OSU as the second leading tackler with 4 for the East but left out that he was abused by Young all game long and didn't sniff a QB pressure or sack as a pass rushing DEnd.
While Jackson and Daniel were solid as could be while being elected team Captains.

Total joke

Rivals ranks UK class 21
247 ranks UK class 29.

But yeah, Rivals has it out for us.

Actually, the #29 ranking is the 247 Composite (Rivals, Scout, 247, ESPN). 247's own evaluations have UK ranked @ #22, which is almost the same ranking as RIVALS. But, none of that has anything to do with UK getting snubbed in an article about the AAA Bowl Performance.

UK's 3 guys outplayed several 5 stars all week. Kash & Drake were named West team Captains. Also, the West squad (UK's kids) whipped the East squad. Landon & Drake probably played 80-90% of the snaps in the game, which is totally unheard of at an all star event!! Kash received an offer from Michigan for his performance at the AAA Bowl. ETC.

With that said, do you honestly believe that 10 other teams commits had better performances at the Army AA Bowl than UK's?

Plus there's the well-documented "Kentucky Effect". If these young men were committed to Alabama, O$U, etc. you'd better believe they would be getting a lot more ratings love than they are currently.

I mentioned this to a rivals analyst on Twitter and he said "how can this be biased when the top 5 are out of my region?" And then proceeded to tell me "that the 3 just didn't completely put it together in the game, but looked great in practice."

Mainly they just ranked the top 10 with best skill positions cause they always have more eyes on them

Who cares. I'm tired of UK fans every year whining that "we get no respect" when we can't even beat WKU or UL in our own state. The program is a total joke as of right now. That is a fact. So stop whining for respect until we can just maybe when 6 games in a season and go to some pathetic bowl game.

Then, MAYBE, you can start whining for "respect".
