Bump
Just arrived in Santa Fe. Will try to find a decent place close to the stadium around 4:00, will post it here for those who made the roadie.
Welcome to Santa Fe! I somehow spaced that this game was in ABQ, I might have to make the drive down tomorrow and watch. Don't get too many opportunities to see TU in action.
I'll second all of Gold's suggestions, with the note that Tia Sophia's is (usually) far easier to get a table at than Pasquals. If both are crowded, I recommend breakfast at the "Pantry". It's out on Cerillos road a bit, but it's fantastic, and might have them both beat anyways. The only reason it is third on my list for breakfast is because I can't walk there.
La Choza is amazing New Mexican dinner. You'll want reservations, and it can be hard to get in. However, they don't take reservations for their very large bar area, which includes decent-sized tables. So if you show up around 5-5:30 you can usually get a table without a reservation. Try the stuffed sopaipilla.
It is prime Green Chile season, and the Farmer's Market in the Railyard will be in full swing tomorrow morning starting at 7 AM. If you're into it, swing by there and get yourself a few bags of roasted green chiles before heading down to the game. They freeze well and last all winter. Last year, I literally had half my freezer full of them and still ran out before May.
I'll also second the Spic 'n Span in Las Vegas as being top-notch if you have a bit of extra time on the way back.
And Gold, congratulations on the baby! I have one on the way myself.
