Looks like someone drifting through his fifth pick up game at the local YMCA.

I don’t know what happened Oweh in the off-season. This season he always looks like he doesn’t want to be here. Where is all that enthusiasm and energy that he played with last year?
It’s beyond obvious he misses his team mates from last year. He wanted to go pro, but can’t. He was excited for a great season and then whatever has happened 100% involved him. He is checked out. Getting that huge sum of money isn’t helping because he’s now set and doesn’t have to preform to keep earning it.

I'm not sure what is up with OO, but he's wasting his final year of basketball where anyone will be watching his game. Even if he doesn't want to be here, there is nothing he can do about it now. His lack of effort is pushing any NBA aspirations further away. He isn't going to make it on talent and constantly being a no show in leadership and effort is not going to help his cause.

This is what happens when the coach is soft and doesn't hold players accountable. Play like this for Izzo, or Pitino and see what happens.
Pope has to stop trying to be their friend and call them out.
Oweh needs to sit, point blank. We all saw his bs attitude last night. Heck, he was yawning on his way to the sidelines after a timeout.
Send him home.

Mark Pope is Oweh's biggest fan, he celebrated his return and brags about him endlessly and this is how Otega responds?
This is how OO shows appreciation for Mark Pope picking him to be on the biggest stage in college basketball? GTFOH
It really sucks seeing this from 00. Idk what happened this year, but I really liked him and I think he’s a good dude. Something way beyond basketball is wrong with him right now. It actually makes me sad because I don’t want to not like him. This isn’t helping though.

Looks to me like Pope lost the locker room. There is some in-fighting going on and OO might be the odd man out.
I don't know what it is, but Pope doesn’t have the personality to fix it in my opinion. He's too close with the players, he's their friend.
The players have to fix this.

Yeah, it’s like parents who try to be their kids best friends instead of their parent.

Otega has just done himself in. NBA scouts are talking about his effort and body language. He will never play in the league.
Yup, that’s what these players have to understand. Guys like Oweh and Kam Williams will never sniff the league now IMHO. They have been exposed and the lack of effort and body language has hurt everyone on the entire team. JJ and Aberdeen have shown a remarkable selfishness with the ball. Even Jelavic as good as he can be sometimes just jacks shots as fast as he can touch the ball.

Yeah, that's the most baffling part for me. OO is in a situation where he needs to show the best of himself and he has… ..had… a legit shot to play big boy basketball.

It’s very concerning to me to see him playing like he doesn't care. That tells me the issues behind the scenes are pretty bad, unless he's a guy that thrives in a victim role and it's always someone else's fault. I never got that vibe about him, but for him to throw away his shot at the NBA like this, is crazy.

Thing is, if he all the sudden decides to turn it on, it's too late, the NBA has seen enough at this point. You can't act like that on THIS stage.

I would announce an indefinite suspension this morning if I were Pope. He will be reinstated once he proves he’s here for the team and not himself.

Now, I wish Oweh would’ve stayed in the draft.

If Pope doesn’t kick this bum off the team TODAY, he is done as coach here. This has been going on ALL SEASON with Oweh. Go back and watch the games. Give him his money and kick his *** to the curb. He is pathetic.

Pope needs to make an example of him.

Pope needs to call these guys out publicly. They are professionals now. This is unacceptable, and I'm sick of this nice guy coach shielding his players that don't deserve it. Absolutely pathetic.
This was one of my fears with MP after I saw what kind of a guy he was. He’s too soft to do what needs to be done here and that isn't going to change. He will do the same things next year, the year after and 10 years from now. It’s who he is and that's not going to work.
Problem is, he's the kind of guy Mitch wants to associate with. Similar mentalities.

Oweh's attitude is me me me me me. He can pass and can be a team player but his attitude is trash. Pope needs to address it. I do believe he is the cancer of the team. I'd be surprised if it's anyone else.

Last years Oweh would kick the absolute dog **** out of this years Oweh.

He was an absolute dog last year. This year he's a puppy. Sad but true.

He supposedly came back so he could have a shot at the NBA. And he's gonna be lucky to make a roster next year on even the worst of the worst NBA team.
