Two straight DNP's.
Surprising since Conley is averaging 5/4 through two games.
Guess the Wolves are using Divincenzo or Alexander-Walker as back up PG.
Never seen either as PG's.

I think he gets his chance soon. Maybe he’s not grasping the offense or the way they want to rotate on D or something. Conley seems washed and I expect he’ll get a shot soon.

Coaches are stubborn creatures. And can be down right weird in their decisions sometimes.

This is why Cal is the best coach in America at preparing guys for the next level. Dillingham had a lot of time practicing being on the bench last year when he was here, so he should be able to do it quite well in the NBA. Once again Cal is playing chess while all of you think he's playing checkers poorly.
Then what was he preparing Wagner and Edwards for during their time at UK? I figured Ellen would stop posting here since they have moved!

What a stupid post. I guess playing 25+ minutes a game didn't help scouts notice him. No wonder he was ONLY drafted 8th. He is a rookie, playing on a time with title aspirations. They are NOT going to play a rookie 30 minutes a game right out of the gate. The have proven guys that have been to the Western Conference Finals, Rob is a rookie. If you knew anything about basketball you would all ready know this, but instead you take stupid shots at his college coach that did not make a lick of sense, so I should not expect you to know the ins and outs of big time pro ball. Did you really expect him to play over guys like Conley, DiVincenzo, Edwards, and Alexander-Walker right out of the gate ????? Never mind, don't answer that, I have a felling it will be worse than your previous post.

Dude hurt us as much as he helped us last year. So glad he and Cal are gonzo.

Guys.....I was being tongue in cheek. It's funny that one of you thought that was a defense of Cal and another thought I was taking a shot at him.

Doesn't make sense. Loser mascot bronnie gets 3 mins but top 10 pick doesn't get any?

Lakers beat wolves as well. Maybe Dilly could have helped.

Some of us…many of us are still happy with any excuse to kick Cal in the nuts after how he ran the program the last several years.

Others, like BGCats, are looking for any excuse to do other things to his nuts apparently.

I got the joke. Seems this is more serious than I realized.
I'm here for the comedy.

Hopefully it's a mutual understanding that he's going to learn from Conley before getting serious run. But you'd think he'd get a few minutes ...

Wolves are extremely deep. Terrance Shannon from Illinois whom we(I'm a huge Wolves fan) also drafted hasn't gotten any minutes either. Many talking heads on radio around here are very baffled why Rob hasn't seen the floor yet. I think he will, might take a small injury or something along those lines though.

Dillingham will get you 20 and give up 30, while collecting a handful of dumb fouls.

Looking for points off the bench, throw him in there. Otherwise, it’s obvious his coaching staff sees his weaknesses outweigh his strengths.

No shame in sitting on the bench for a year and watching..

I'd rather he do that on a winning franchise, than get 35mpg as a rookie for a crappy organization like the Wizards.
It hurts his chance at ROY though. And there's probably a bonus in his contract for achieving that.

Crazy stat, the entire 1st round combined for 77 pts in their first game.
Probably one of the weakest draft classes in recent memory.
Thai draft sucked balls. The first 2 picks were a joke. I will be very surprised if those 2 become even All Stars.

He was our coach 15 years, he will be talked about for a long time to come. He’s in the SEC, it’s a relevant topic. It won’t stop so may as well not click on the threads about him.
Or the threads ion Dillingham? LOL

If we can’t agree that there are Cal obsessed folks on this site that will weave Cal into every thread, then I guess we are reading very different posts

I’m just saying there will always be plenty of them all year and many years to come. Whether we think they are obsessed or not he will be a talking point on here many times a year.

We lost 2 of his 3 highest-scoring games last year. He is a very high-volume shooter who is weak on defense. He is learning how to be a pro. He is young with plenty of time to develop into a solid, consistent player.
