We are gonna lose some running back depth, and a WR that was determined to never realize his potential. That sucks.
Of course the media headline says multiple athletes when it was just a pair involved. Plus no arrests sparks some curiosity...seems like much more to the story.

Some guys never steer clear of trouble and Bridges is that example Pistol whipped the guy either Trejaun or Seth did. How did either one not up in jail for armed criminal action?
On the Rattler article...some guys have loads of talent and very poor life decisions . Probably saw the last of them in the Cotton Bowl.
I would send both of these ******** packing from Norman. Bridges has demonstrated his character. I have no time for these low life pieces of **** that waste life changing opportunities. Riley's strength of character will be tested.
Not concerned about the removal of these two players and I agree that Riley needs to purge them.
Brooks, Gray, Henderson and Major form a solid RB corps and the WR depth is still rock solid with Mims, Hasselwood, Wease, Stoops, Howard and the freshmen Williams and Jackson.
No charges filed as of Sat. afternoon. They got Bridges in custody, but McGowan was on the lamb. Whole thing is STRANGE. For a pistol whip assault not get someone charged is truly bizarre. Robbery allegationwas designer shoes...a camera....and you guessed it...marijuana.
One of the reports said the authorities interviewed Bridges and released him. Are you saying Bridges has been held is custody since Thursday night? Maybe I'm missing something here but how can they hold Bridges without filing charges?
well all you have to do is tell the "doctor" you have a back ache and he'll right his script, collect his kickback, and you are good to go.
McGowan was on the lamb after yesterday. Was he the mastermind of this pathetically dumb robbery plot?? Both need to be sent packing.
The person robbed is a drug dealer and may not be cooperating with police. Hence no charges filed at this point.
Just a fwiw, but Howard hit the portal a while back. Don’t think he’s landed anywhere yet though, so the door may still be open.
Oh that’s a great thing the drug dealer knows Bridges and McGowan. Makes the decision to drop them and kick them off campus much easier. This team does not distractions period.
Charges on the trash. The King couldn't have said it any better. The NCAA, and her universities are only accountable for excuses and coverups. Where does CFB go from here. Big money goes to the illiterate mongers and participants. Think about it. LMAO. 
I agree I would be done with them. However at this point I think we would be assuming if they knew each other based on what I have heard/read. Drug dealers get robbed all the time and not following through on the complaint is not at all unusual.
Background checks and all these days. A college football coach as well as the NCAA knows the turds they employ. Yes, employ, I said it. Think about it.
To be fair, there isn't a big time football school that doesn't have a few "bad apples" enter the program sometimes, even satellite schools like Texas.
It's the same as every democratic nation in the world having a few "skeletons in the closet" during its history....or having a few bad politicians within every nation's government.....like our own Divided States of America.
If one considers, then plans and then executes armed robbery there is no redeemable or rehabilitating value in this person. This person is bad to the core and not salvageable in my opinion. If LR does not dismiss these two from the team then the university needs to expel them on the demerits of their misdeeds. There is no situation that can arise from further investigation that will excuse robbery, armed or not.
I had to google The Wire. I never heard of it until now. I spent most of the last 40 years working overseas in areas where the TV was so censored it was not worth watching (all Middle East countries) or in countries where the broadcast were in language other than English. Other than sports (mostly college football and anything OU) or certain movies that interest me I stopped watching TV many years ago.I guess you are not a fan of or have not watched The Wire

Understood. I just recently stumbled on it myself and thought it was very good. My taste in television is probably an acquired one at best. The past year has lessened the importance. I have enjoyed more time with the family and new adventures in life. But there is always some time for indulgence with some streaming entertainment...be well.
Robbery for $1200 shoes and pot...ok now that is just silly. Dumasses throwing it all away over this? And from a friend known to be a drug dealer?? Real masterminds.
