This is the kind of terrible, off-base thread I'd expect to see on one of the Rutgers basketball Facebook pages. R. Hummel has forgotten more about basketball than anyone here knows.

If you want a broadcast free of any legit criticism, mute the TV and listen to the radio broadcast.

This is a ridiculous characterization of Hummel. Great announcer who if anything has been very fair to us. I recall him raving about Caleb during broadcasts, I remember him saying that Caleb was blowing up the opponents offensive sets with his defense during multiple broadcasts. Always recognized Ron and Geo when they were delivering in the clutch. Same with Cam Spencer. When things are not going well, what is he supposed to say? Tell us that Zac Martini is an elite player? Talk about what a great shooter that PJ Hayes is as he misses three after three? Tell us that Derkack brings a great playmaking element to the team as a transfer when he’s not actually making plays? Tell us that Acuff brings dynamic scoring when he’s on the floor? I guess you prefer he piss on our legs and tell us it’s raining. Btw, he raved about Ace, the display of his talents he saw and his shotmaking abilities. There was nothing else to say favorable towards RU based upon what we watched last night.
