I'm shocked a DC at UCLA would jump to coach LBs for the Falcons, regardless of his past relationship with their new HC.

Just read that A&M and Michigan are in the mix. If we had a better recruiter at LB position then maybe we would be in the mix as well.

Why is that surprising? In the NFL, it's a purer coaching challenge and much less demanding from a year-around standpoint. In college, you're a salesman chasing 16-17 year olds, ALL YEAR LONG. In the NFL, you're working with the most talented or the hardest working guys in that position. It's actually about coaching Xs and Os instead of baby sitting players that think they're A LOT better than they really are and putting up with 17 year old recruiting theatrics.

To me, if the money is similar, which they tend to me, it's a no brainer where I would rather be.

Montgomery gone???????? We still have Kish...give me a break, that just sucks so the middle of the defense will be coached by someone new and Kish. Hope the kids like and want to play for the new guy if not, going to be a long season.
