I have been bumped harder walking my dog. That was the lamest call of the game. How does that call get made when our guys is obviously pulling up on a quarterback that just barely got the ball out of his hands?

It was a terrible call Our player's hand barely, and I mean barely and briefly was near the chin strap.
I may be wrong, but I think the play occurred shortly after they fumbled the punt. They made a big deal about that play being a flag on us and more than likely the officials felt they "owed one" to UVA.
Pretty much going to get no good calls in this league as the NKOTB.

There were some strange calls and overrides, against both teams (although by this time I only remember those that affected us). It took multiple looks at the punt fumble to see that the Va. returner was losing the ball just before Quick hit him. I doubt if Quick saw the fumble but was already in hit motion when it happened. Without re-instituting the halo rule there are going to be some close calls. As always, card fans remember Connecticut.
