Anyone use these for a workout? I ride a bike/jog when it's warm, but looking for something when it's cold.

Love it. I do 500m intervals with an '8' resistance. Right now I do five intervals: the first at 2:05, the second to fourth at 1:55, then the fifth at 2:05. One minute rest in between intervals. I'm going to try to knock five seconds of each interval next week. Quads and biceps catch fire and the heart rate stays way up. Lats and those little muscles behind my shoulder blades are toast the next day.

They are amazing.

I can row one 500m in under 1:30 and feel like I don't need to do another workout that day.

Thanks! Any recommendations on one. Don't need high tech or anything. Well built basic and around $500.

I've only used concept2 at the gyms.

If I were to buy my own, I'd find a water rower. Those things are peaceful.

I own a Concept 2. One of my best fitness investments ever, but i absolutely hate to run.

Just a word of financial warning, you won't find one for $500.
