Maybe I'm soft, but I actually feel sorry for him. He's got to be broken inside.
You're soft. It's alright though. You're a good guy. But think about what Roy has been a HUGE part of for his entire career. Sanctions at KU and likely to leave unx "Paterno'd." Coulda stood up and stopped the scam at any point. Didn't make a move until Dan Kane started sniffin' around. That said , I hope he stays forever. K flat out OWNS 'im.
Roy had water coming out of his eyes in the presser. I really did feel sorry for him for about 3 seconds but it passed.
Threw Dean under the bus too. Said Smith didn't call a time-out there either...then said he shoulda called a time-out. lulz @ Roy

Duke could lose every regular season game remaining this year, and I would be completely satisfied with the way things played out.
I was so happy to see Douche Johnson moping after the game after having that smug look on his face the majority of the game.
They want him fired so bad but who do they hire?? They don't have anyone waiting in the wings, the guy most of them want just arrived in Texas and isn't leaving. Currently they can't get anyone better so let me fire him and go on further down in flames
This. He played with a lot of emotion and I didn't mind that, but there were a few times he was barking at our players. I was happy to see the tables turn.
In defense of Brice, he was picking some of our players up to throughout the game. I don't mind him at all.
I felt bad for Roy when I saw the presser. Last night was huge for the program & now the negativity will swirl around him. He's a great coach but his best days are behind him & it doesn't help that K has it in high gear.
This isn't a vintage Duke team , obviously. Talent is there but Duke's not deep , they're young and other than Brandon there's no "one-n-done's" on the team. Grayson could certainly be a "two-n-done" but even that's not guaranteed. All the talk has been that unx is a legit FF contender. The other side of it was Duke fell outta the Top 25 and may even miss the NCAA's. This year , the Devils weren't the same caliber as a lotta teams and damn-sure weren't the same caliber as unx. Maybe Duke still isn't. Season's not over. But the records as of last night? Duke is 20-6. 9 and 4 in the ACC. The holes? 21-5 , 10 and 3. A whopping one game difference even though this Duke team might miss the entire damn tourney. One. #RoySux
We all remember the great quote HOF Coach Roy Williams had several years ago which went something like this. I don't give a #$%^ about Carolina. Seems now Carolina don't give a #$%^ about him. But if they go on a winning streak and win it all he will once again he the best there is. What a fan base. OFC
I haven't seen anything in the last week indicating that Duke might not make the NCAA's. Not sure but I think several of the the teams that were ahead of us just two weeks ago in the top 30 have now lost more than we have.
