Unranked St. John’s upset #6 UConn, 85-74; #12 Xavier defeated #25 Marqu4ette, 80-76; and Ohio State lost to Rutgers, 68-64 in overtime, avenging a ref’s call that gave the Buckeyes a 67-66 unwarranted victory on Dec. 8 because Tanner Holden, who made a 3-point attempt, had stepped out of bounds but refs missed it.
