3 pretty obvious picks coming in an hour.

Haven’t won on foreign soil since 1993.

Don’t think this will have the feel of an “away” match because the course looks like an American course. Crowd may be a little different than the traditional uk crowd also imo.

Hope tiger and Phil don’t get picked, they’ll lose it for us.

Oh I know they’re getting picked, unfortunately. Those young guns’ backs will be very sore come Sunday.

Duval, Z. Johnson, Kuchar named vice captains today. Love III and Stricker are already vice captains.

Bryson, Finau, and Kisner/Sned instead of the two old dudes would have made a stronger team.

Wrong. Finau will make the team, as he should. Kisner is my guy, but he had his chances and blew them, at least compared to Finau.

Sneds? [laughing][roll]

Tiger/Phil are ranked higher than Sneds/Kisner in OWGR, FedEx, Scoring Average, and any other metric you want to look at...

...never mind the intangibles, leadership, and experience they bring to the table. They've more than earned 2 of the the 9-12 spots on this team, and there isn't a SINGLE person in the golf world who would disagree.

You should really focus on learning the game of golf both on and off the course over the next several years so you can participate and add value to both this thread & your golfing groups.

In that case, get Jack and Tom. Much more to bring in those 3 categories.

Are Jack & Tom currently T25 in the World?

What other guys ranked outside the Top 50 are you in favor of adding?

You're such a clueless contrarian Dbag on all things sports. Go buy some Baby Blue Nike gear.

Well never mind. This thread is all ready ruined. GD, Cole and Drain, go argue with each other on Twitter, oh, you two can't, your opinions are the same.

Yeah, leave Tiger and Phil out. Maybe Kevin Na and Scott Piercy would score more points.

Sned recently withdrew due to back spasms so good reason why he is not going to get picked.

Sorry, I prefer consistency over spitting the bit each time he sniffs the lead. You keep buying the hype, and I will continue to be correct. TFP.

I’ll give you credit. It’s takes persistence to be an insufferable message board troll. So you got that going for you.

Finau will probably make it ... but with the pressure of the Ryder Cup and the course they are playing and the premium for keeping the ball in play and the need to be able to make putts, Kisner would be a good option IMO.

Need to get Tiger off there, ASAP. Sned, Mahan, or Ted Potter Jr would be my picks.

Personally, I think Europe went the wrong way with their older guys, but we shall soon see.

Listening to Foreplay yesterday Brandel Chamblee was on their arguing that Furyk should pick Kyle Stanley over Tony Finau. I know he likes to be a contrarian, but come on.

Kyle Stanley would be in the next tier of guys, for sure -- but he has a zero % chance of being picked over Tony Finau.

I suppose Xander could make it interesting w/ a win here. I love that kid, he'll be mentioned w/ his other classmates sooner than later.

Finau has just been so consistent though, unless he tanks this weekend or Xander wins, he's the pick.
