Buying tickets from an organization then reselling them is a risk you take. For $650 total you could buy a season ticket. Season ticket face value of the Alabama ticket was much less than $325.

Not true. I have 2 season tickets and section 7 face value was $325. I called the ticket office.

Point is only, as a season ticket holder face value isn't $325. Ticket & donation are not the same but you know that. Joe does know they have to get better quickly or people won't renew and they are very concerned. People want a larger stadium but the demand, even in good years is not there to justify expanding. You might consider moving to a lower donation level to minimize a lose if you don't go to the game. But buying a season ticket any year and expecting to get your entire cost back isn't a good investment especially at your donation level. Of course if the team performed at Missouri like they did against Bama your lose would have been less but you still wouldn't get your donation cost back.

Yeah I’m not worried about getting my full money back just frustrated couldn’t get more for the premier game on the schedule. I shouldve tried to sell it a few weeks ago. I was trying to figure out a way to make it to the game. Kids sports get in the way of my fun. Ha

I did like it better when we got 80% tax write off for donation.

The good news is st least in sec we have much better home schedule. Happy for team and Brent for big win but in my opinion OU admin sometimes handcuff our coaches with strict compliance and limited NIL etc.

I've been in situations where I needed to sell tickets and I get it. I've given tickets away because I couldn't sell at I thought was a reasonable price just to make sure someone was in the seat. I try to find 1st resonders. I expect a better team next year. Injuries have taken a big toll this year.

Imo season tickets are pretty much a rip off
If you get the ones like we had the 1st few yrs in the section 230 nosebleed section they are way better than the ones we had last in section 23. At least in sec 230 we had club seats where only one person could sit in it. In sec 23 we had 2 lard asses on our row that filled it up, by the time we got there we had no place to sit, crammed in like sardines. Brought Stadium Security up there only to hear squeeze in. In between what I asked, someones *** cheeks? So we left. They didn't do squat. Guess what, no more donations and no more season tickets even after a phone call to the AD's office. They DON'T CARE!

I have never purchased season tickets but when I do go to the games, I prefer those nose bleed seats. I normally get tickets between sections 224-230 and really like the view because you can see the entire field from up there. Sitting in the end zones can really suck unless the action is on your side of the field. So if I did buy season tickets they would be up in the section I mentioned.

I am to poor to afford lower level seats for season tickets. Real truth is, I have no desire to pay that price just to sit down lower.
