I have heard concussion protocol.It was said she had an injury, but my hunch is that she broke a team rule, and it getting to sit three games for it. Patty wants to keep the details of that private, but she expects her players to live up to the right standards. When she does that to her best pitcher, ahead of a team that hits like South Carolina, it sends the right message to everybody. And a willingness to do the right thing. It's why she's the GOAT.
And if we find out Sam is really injured in the next week or two, then I apologize in advance.

When did you first hear that she would miss the whole weekend? I'm not able to hear much insider stuff from a couple hundred miles away. But I didn't know she was sitting out the whole weekend until Sunday. I WAS shocked when she didn't start game one. She's been OU's best pitcher. And she's the only one that seem capable of pitching with quality more than once in a weekend.
