The one place to enjoy a sport alone, or with others (keeping the proper social distance, of course) riding in separate golf carts or walking. Nobody touches the flag, and the holes are raised so the ball doesn't fall into the cup. Please don't take golf away from us, Guv.

Agree, but my course was so packed yesterday on the putting green and driving range that I didn't really feel all that comfortable to be honest

My daughter and I went out and played 4 or 5 holes yesterday afternoon when I got home from work. I have my own cart and live just down the street so I drive my cart to the course. We didn't come in contact with anyone but had a great time.

I'm planning on getting 9 in this afternoon. Beautiful day.

Driving range yesterday evening was packed so I'm worried everyone else has the same idea.

Yep, Champions closed until next week for aeration, then it should be fine.

But I pumped up my walking cart, not going to ride in a golf cart just yet.

Man it was packed yesterday wasnt it? I may take the pull cart over this evening. Absolutely gorgeous day.

If only I didnt suck at golf I'd love to play

I sucked at Golf until I was in my early 30's. Primarily because I was an awful driver of the ball. I was pretty good with my irons and around the green, but driving was awful.

I never took an actual lesson, but I watched this video and have played the best golf of my life since.

Now at almost 40 I hit the ball longer and straighter than I ever have. Score in high 70's to mid 80's and play no more than once a month.

I have no clue who this guy is, but this worked for me for sure.

Man you are me. When I play with my friends I dont even drive most the time bc balls are expensive haha. I just drop with the shortest guy usually and play out. I can play great with Irons and Flat stick, but the drives are just bad. I also like to drink so thats half the fun for me. Thanks for the youtube plug

Also, another piece of advise...if you want to get better quickly and aren't going to play a ton pick up some single length irons. I'd recommend getting fitted for them but it will promote learning one swing and one swing only.

I converted to these last year moving from Taylor Made irons and it was best decision I ever made in terms of golf equipment.

That video man...I am telling you, I went from driving the ball 200 or 225 to consistently over 275 in the matter of one season. I am good for over 300 at least twice a round now and have driven a bunch a shorter par 4's, 325+. I've lost a bit of power the past couple years because I jacked my back up, but hit the ball much cleaner and straighter now than I ever did.

I am truly not gloating, it is just remarkable how much that video helped me.

Keep your spine angle on the longer clubs (and all clubs for that matter) and think about swinging the handle to the left as you come through. You can only do this if you stay down. Otherwise, you'll come over the top and hit it all over the place. Just friendly advice from a 2 handicapper from the Tips who struggled with his driver for a long time.

Played Maywood today. Rode with a buddy. Wiped the cart down with disinfectant thoroughly before and during. Great weather. Big crowd. Loved it.
