Satterfield. I don’t care about flashy offense. I want wins. I never want to go through a season like that again.

Between the two? No question from me Norvell. I think he runs an offense uofl would appreciate. I don’t think our fans would have the patience for Satterfield.

If we were gonna throw 6 mil at .500 Brohm then why in the hell aren't we doing the same thing to any coordinator at Georgia, Alabama, or Clemson? Why....seriously why aren't we ? I don't get it

SATTERFIELD

Some of you guys are on here drooling over Memphis putting up points on UCF. One game sample. Say, didn't somebody else build that program and Norvell took over?

No, thanks. We don't need a guy that can fill in running a machine that was already rolling. We need a guy that can build/rebuild. Give me the guy with a proven record of building a team as it transitioned from FCS to FBS and then proceeded to dominate his peers for 3 years straight, and scared the living day lights out of more talented teams along the way.

Satterfield is the best coach available and we're about to get him.

Norvell was eliminated accord reports yesterday. One issue was a question about gambling, but Mark Ennis said it’s more than just that.

So far, the local radio hosts have missed on everything. Jodi seems to have the best info.

The thread asked to pick between two coaches. I would choose Norvell over Satterfield, and not based on tonight’s game, Memphis sits 6th in ncaa total offense right now. Satterfield has a very small sample size against really good fbs competition. His team lost by 20 to Georgia Southern this year. It’s just hard to gauge how good Satterfield will be, but don’t get me wrong, if we hired him I will 100% support him.

Obviously, it’s about as putrid’s as Purdue’s, again look at the rankings.

What Satterfield seems to lack in the passing game, his team makes up for running the football. Also his defenses are performing awesome against lower G5 competition. I just hope it translates if we hire him.

I know right zNorvell has a flashy offense but his defense sucks. Everybody on here has complained about The past 3 defensive coordinators but they want Norvell whose teams can't stop anybody defensively.

That’s my point. I watched them against Houston. They beat Houston 52-31. Same issue I had with Brohm.

But Norvell isn’t coming. He was one I liked but we can’t bring anyone with a questionable past. We’re on probation

I’m really the only guy on this thread that picked Norvell over Satterfield, and I only said him because the thread only gave two options. I honestly don’t want either of them just to set the record straight.
