He was in Tulsa for finals a couple years ago. Didn’t disrupt it too much. Just be sure to get there early!

I think he just likes going places that will cheer for him
I also think he appreciates intense environments. He goes to the Army/Navy football game, because it is an amazing experience with all the loyalty and excitement.
He has always given a lot of respect to wrestlers. It is great press for us, although some people may start keying any cars with a "my son wrestles" bumper sticker.
I love it when he was with a college team, (I think it was either the Hawks or PSU) honoring them, and he was making a joke about how the guys on the team were more interested in talking to Jim Jordan than talking to him, just because Jim was a NCAA champ.

I think Saturday night of the NCAA wrestling finals is that place, no matter what city is hosting.
Yes, I think I remember John losing to Sanchez in the beginning of his junior year. Maybe I remember John winning in the finals against Sanchez that year.

Secret service took over security this morning so if you’re coming to the finals, give yourself plenty of time beforehand to get in.
I'm parking in Lot C and they sent me an email discouraging the use of Well Fargo Center lots, but if I really wanted to use my parking pass that I paid good money for, I should expect long delays and car searches by the secret service. Just great!!

So I stayed over by Rittenhouse square. The subway from city hall to the arena was super easy and convenient. Outside of a couple low life locals smoking it was a good experience and it saved me a couple hundred in uber costs I was planning for.

This is gonna be the longest finals ever and I have a 10 hour drive tomorrow. Then an 8 hour round trip on Monday. I hate me.

One of the most fun nights I've ever experienced. After PSU's morning session, all pressure was off watching the finals. Everyone was rooting for Wyatt to win, and to do it in the final seconds made it all the better. I got two hours of sleep and on the way home now. Thank goodness its Sunday. Traffic is light.
I agree 100%. I never paid much attention tot he Army/Navy football game, until I heard Trump went to it. Then I started looking into it and realized what a big deal it was and what a cool event it was. I started hearing about people who were not fans of either team going to the game just for the atmosphere. I will continue to pay attention to that game now, because of my awareness of its and new found appreciation for it. Hopefully, that translates to new fans for wrestling.
Just saw on Fox they talked about Wyatt saluting Trump after the match. Great exposure and great to see patriotic people who are not afraid to say that they love this country and are grateful for living in it.
Philly locals won't be there. There will be plenty of pennsyatucky wrestling fans.
Both starocci and Wyatt have given interviews on Fox News this morning. The spotlight that Trump put on the event is continuing to pay dividends.
