It's a 35 min documentary, so you're forewarned. And it mostly is UK based

I'm not sure where I come down on this deal. Part of me says look at all my ****...I got nothing to hide. If Uncle Sam can identify someone that wants to kill my countrymen or more importantly, my family, then I say collect all you want, Joe Government. If it saves one life(or if it takes a pedophile off the street) for the NSA to know what kind of porn I watch, it's worth it.

But I lean more towards the other side, I think. If given carte blanche, what precedent does it set?

Maybe we're headed that way, anyway.

So it's ok for other people to see your dick pics or your wife's holiest of holes?
Honestly, I really don't care. I'm not 100% sure but I bet my cauk looks pretty much like every other cauk, only smaller. And mind you, I have two EX wives. I've got xxx pics of both of them. They know it. I don't share said pics with anyone but if the nsa wants to tap into my removable hard drive, in the name of national security, then I say knock yourself out.

I guess you didn't read my op all the way through. I don't think any government body should be given a free wheel to do whatever the **** they want. Sets a dangerous precedent. Me, you and Betty Lou can ***** about it all we want. Probably won't make a difference one way or another. Did you watch the video? Cuz if you did, you would know that the US is ahead of the UK in terms of shutting the door on the governments ability to watch us.

Don't be a sheep. Edumacate yourself.

My response was in reference to a bit that John Oliver did on this subject. Not you personally.

I think accepting surveillance by the government is treasonous.

Dave, you texting your buddy about that time you hooked a friend up with a fat sack for a dead concert could come back to haunt you in the right circumstances.

How about when someone gets hold of everyone's secrets and releases them to the public?

What kind of mass chaos would be set off if everyone's secrets were revealed, Ashley Madison times infinity.

Marshall Law, no doubt.

PDT, i would like that post 100 times if i could. "Protecting us" is the last thing that type of monitoring is used for. Information is power. That much power is dangerous. Always.

I get it...but marshall law is more than a bit of a stretch. Who's secrets? What kind? I'm not advocating the gov't watching private citizens for no reason. 100% think that is dangerous. Just saying, what secrets of mine are going to ruin me? Do you have skeletons that you're afraid will come out? I'm a fan of dude's like Snowden, that have working knowledge, checking the faggots that think they have free reign.

The Government spying on you doesn't make you any safer. It's just the excuse the give when they get caught.

Agree.

I don't have any secrets. I'm an open book. But imagine if tomorrow everyone knew who was cheating? Everyone know what their bosses or employees thought of them? Everyone knew who was gay, who had an STD, whose friends weren't really their friends, what police, politicians, judges were corrupt, who killed or wanted to kill someone, or commuted whatever crime, who was stealing from who, who had a drug addiction, who was lying about anything at all, who had a porn addiction, whatever the F might ruin someone's life or cause them or others harm.

There's a lot of bad crazy **** in this world.

Imagine that happening all at once.

Sounds like a party. One that I'd love to witness. Then, we could make the movie "The Purge" a reality. Yippee ka yeah, mf'r.
