I agree. I’d hate to be a young guy today. You have no idea what’s allowed anymore.

It’s really not that difficult to figure out. Keep your hands off, unless she wants you to touch her. Keep your comments to yourself, unless you know she’s receptive to them. If you try flirting and she’s into it, keep doing it. If she’s not into it, stop!

It ain’t rocket surgery, fellas!

You're right. It ain't rocket (surgery)? All you have to be is a world class mind reader and recognize attention whores.

If I was famous (i’m not) had any kind of power (I don’t) or had any significant kind of wealth (still no) I would not go anywhere near any kind of younger or good looking women. Find some homely chick who has her own job, have her meet you at a Golden Corral where there are lots of witnesses and have a good first date. If it goes well, shake her hand and let her go home. If she wasn’t too repulsive or didn’t smell bad and can hold a conversation, propose to her the next day. Boom, problem solved. She’ll clean up over the years, start to dress nicer, wear some makeup and look presentable. She’ll have a great life and you’ll have a good companion.

The end.

You mean like the guy that got kicked out of school because the woman he had been having sex with for months, decided she didn’t really want to and that it was all rape? Then she carried a mattress around campus for a year to make her point?

I have said this several times. Just don't talk to women at work except about work. Preiod. Not your personal life, not if your parents die, not about a ball game. Nothing.

Actually it is a lot more complicated than that. You can not keep doing it because even if she was into it at one point, you can still piss her off a couple weeks later and bring it back on you. What was acceptable can change any time at her whim and it will be over for the man. Yes, I have seen it in real life.

Excellent take, Glenn. Each and every single female that is new in our department inquires about my availability. I’m polite, but I find my female companionship outside of the job. Makes work less complicated.

I'd like to see someone like Jack Nicholson make a pre-emptive press release along the lines of "Ladies and gentlemen, at all points in my adult life I have attempted to get laid. I will continue to do so until I am dead. If you don't like it, I really don't give a ****. Go Lakers."

Here is the actual video of the interview with Morgan Freeman that the CNN woman reporter claims is inappropriate. His comment is actually made to the story Michael Caine is telling, not her! He may be guilty but the evidence certainly isn't in this video..

The CNN reporter appears to be out to make a name for herself in the #METOO movement and doesn't care if she destroys this guys reputation, career, lucrative endorsement deals, etc.

There's going to be a huge backlash against this sort of **** and it isn't clear if the people supporting it are aware of what they are doing or actively attempting to goad idiocy.

To the degree that #metoo teaches all people that women should be respected professionally and to be conscientious of what you say and do, great. To the degree that celebrity like Morgan Freeman's is used to for character assassination for allegations that can never be proven, the backlash is going to be worse than the crime.

And if Morgan Freeman did some kind of Bill Cosby or Weinstein **** that I'm not aware of, let him rot. But this seems like a witch hunt.
