I think next season will determine that at least in my mind. Not that I think he is a bad coach by any stretch but I’m not completely convinced to date. For as much buy in as he supposedly has with the players he has sure lost quite a few of the best to the portal.

Doubt you could lose 8 and play ND that tough. They had two good starters out and 2 or 3 non factors to transfer. Great game but it’s a loss. C ya next year.

Losing 8 starters is only a valid excuse if they're injured. If they entered the portal or "opted out", that's part of the problem in the first place, not a valid excuse.
Regardless, I was wrong to say we were down 8 players ....it was actually 11 (10 starters and 1 big contributor).

Stoops in his tenure…..averaging 6.6 wins per year. The 6.5 million is about right. I can see the value of $1 million per win. Great business decision. Glad he’s locked up.
