Driving today on the Garden State Parkway, I saw the following rutgres football billboard:

SCARLET OUT SATURDAY!​

Yes, this is what we’re up against. This will be a boon to rutgres recruiting, and PSU will bear the brunt of it.

As if BIRTHPLACE. o_O wasn’t enough, now we have to contend with the SCARLET. OUT. o_O .

Life just got even harder for Franklin.

I think they are referring to the rash you get from the community hot tub in the stadium

Scarlet Out sounds stupid. Why not use something which the color is already a part of?? They should go with Scarlet Fever but that would probably offend somebody.

The extremes to entertain themselves when there's nothing entertaining on the field. Won't ever forget September 13, 2014, those classless a'holes.

Exactly… do these morons not realize that “White Out” is an actual play on an existing term, whereas Scarlet Out, Maize Out etc. are not? That only leaves room for their events to be purely derivative of the White Out. How completely lame.

While they haven't exactly played murderers row, Rutgres has quietly not sucked so far this year.

And it really pains me to compliment them in any way....

WtF 😬 … guess it’s the gimmicky $h!t you have to do when you’re a joke program. I read that they handed out bingo cards to students with a chance to win a $1000 if they didn’t leave at halftime against VT Saturday.

It only gets better and better. In two weeks, when the Fighting Wagner Seahawks visit SHI--t Stadium, it will be $1 slice day, brought to the fortunate attendees by Pizza Hut, but only through the first quarter. Here is the commemorative t-shirt, which will be a treasured possession for life:
