The next time you talk to the "schedule makers" be sure to tell them you don't like it. I wonder how the players/coaches feel about it?

Seems like this pretty much happens every season? Am I just dreaming it? At least a week, maybe 9-10 days? I think it was a week after Louisville last season, and 10 days between the games after UL. Sounds about right.
It’s always been this way 9-14 days. When Cal was here everyone called it camp Cal. Because that’s when he supposedly implemented the changes that’s take us to the next level for March. It’s like that for every team. Allows players to go home with family a few days and get back for a week of practice before the next games.

Year before 7 days.

Do better.

I do not like an 11 day break in mid season. I am pretty sure this is the longest break of my lifetime.

I was just telling my wife, there is no games on, I hope Alabama don't have a warm up game before us. Might not be good, and we have learned that practice is a totally different game, no matter how deep you think your team is. Just gives a person to much damn time to think about basketball. I gotta get my ice fishing gear back out, if these guys would rather eat then play ball 🤣

I'm with you, these long breaks suck, but we have had players coming back from injury's, so maybe not a totally bad thing.

It is what it is. There's not a single CBB game today.

Only two nfl games- and they aren't playoff games.

Handful of NBA games but they're all mid afternoon/late gams.

Bowl games but nothing of merit.

Just a MEH day in sports. It's a big travel weekend too though. Lot of folks going back home.

It's super annoying! I've been trying to find out what time the game starts and my phone keeps telling me the Bellarmine score.

Too bad we can’t get Cal to go tweak Bama for us.

I don't want to wait either, but at least this season we have two guys that can legitimately use it. Lowe and JQ. JQ will have more time to condition and gel with the team. He seemed to have some tired wheels out there against Bellarmine.

NCAA rules mandate 3 days off. So better to go with the way Ky did with afternoon game & easier flight schedules to get Vacation started. Then after 3 1/2 days off practice hard with full contact scrimmages because Pope has 13 to 15 bodies to make practice intense.
Questions about Lowe & BG injuries. Great opportunity for JJ & Jelly to step it up.
Id rather practice against Ky non starters than play a game against Ark Texarkana?

I heard the players were holding out for more NIL money so we haven't played for 11 days. They wanted a raise after the St. Johns performance.

The long break seems worse because there has been no games worth watching the last few days. I keep thinking there will be good football games to watch...but absolutely nothing.
PopTarts Bowl was actually a good game and fun too.

Rest...not so much
