Duke plays 5 road games against ranked opponents this year, which is the most in conference. UNC plays 2 road games against ranked opponents, which is the least in conference. Interesting disparity.

Yet despite this, and all our struggles, we are only 2 games behind UNC and UVA. UNC still has to play us twice and UVA twice. So there are a lot of losses to go around. I don't know if anyone will end up with 4 or less conference losses.

ACC is just crazy stacked this year. Look at the bottom of the conference and you see Clemson and Pittsburgh - two teams that won on the road against the likes of South Carolina and Maryland, two schools that are both ranked in the top 20 in the nation. No easy games. But yes, UNC is fortunate to play the majority of the games against ranked opponents at home. In ACC play, UNC gets 5 ranked teams at home and just two on the road. At least they have to play UVA and us twice. Louisville looks really tough and they could certainly win at the banner dome.

The upcoming Pitt game is critical. We need to win it convincingly, play some good D and get that confidence level up a bit more before the holes land in Cameron. I know we've looked pretty shaky but I just can not foresee the likes of Grayson, Luke , Matt and Amile not playing big in that one.
