I haven't seen it, but i would bet my bottom dollar it's full of "video type" camera shots of alien aircraft versus the good guys.

I wish they had a remake of "Mars Attacks". Now that would be good for some belly laughs....

No, not much interest in ID 2. Was not a big fan of the first one, only because I'm not a sci-fi or fantasy film lover. Give me something based on true events and I'm there. However, I had high interest in the latest Matthew McConaughey movie, "The Free State of Jones," about the county in Mississippi that did not support the Confederate cause in the Civil War, but the early reviews were pretty harsh, so I stayed away from that one. I can't believe it's been nearly a year, but the last theater I went to was to see "The Revenant."

What about the new Tarzan Movie? The trailer looks good. I first read the Edgar Rice Burroughs book in the 7th grade. I thought it was the best book ever. I revisited it 20 years later and couldn't how I was hoodwinked with the really poor writing. I guess I grew up. Still like the "Hardy Boys" though..;)

Tarzan will always be one of my fake hero's. The last movie was pretty good. It would interesting to see a review on the new movie...........

Sorry K2C, not a big fan of fiction, sci-fi or fantasy movies, so I won't be doing any reviews on Tarzan, Spiderman, Wolverine, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc. There are a couple of comedies coming up soon that I have my eye on.... :D

Edgar Rice Burroughs was considered a classic read in the grade school years. But with your opinion, so was "20 Leagues Under the Sea", "Gone With The Wind", Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and many, many more movies that I guess you would skip for a movie review.

I get your point about the comic book stories, but I find them mostly entertaining. Most movies are for entertainment. I still won't watch "Old Yeller" today. Makes me cry......... :(
