Hard to dump on them when the HOB group was just as wrong.
Insiders for UK suck ***. We keep giving them views and financial incentives with clicks, likes, and interaction.
God bless Scoop, but he doesn't know any more than a coin flip in the portal era. Nobody does.
KSR is yesterday’s news. They have become a caricature of their own self.
They have become a comedy act more than anything. Which is fine I like most of them, but to pretend they have any scoop or any "secrets" is just fictional.
Has anyone associated with KSR gotten anything correct yet this offseason?

There are no uk insiders. I started saying that last year and its even more clear now. Jones and co know nothing unless they steal it from someone. They used to have info, but no more.
Joe Tipton is the only person who actually knows things nationwide but he doesn't scoop anything because it hurts his tiptonedits gig.
The only legit info comes from the nil world and that comes from random Twitter accounts with only a few thousand followers and an account that only lasts a few weeks before its nuked.
I think they were actually the ones who called Quaintance early

It's so weird how butthurt some of you all get over KSR. They are very entertaining and a good listen for UK fans or sports fans in general. Their ratings back that up.
They were not. It was a random Twitter account who called several other things days before and since changed their handle and stopped posting cbb content.
Ksr hasnt had basketball info in forever, not since coach o's first stint.
Their entertainment value is another issue. Fact is they have no inside info and haven't in years.
I have heard them be right lots of times also. They are like just about every college "insider" nowadays....NIL, agents and last minute bidding wars make inside information worthless because it can change by the minute.
With money involved now, nothing is official until they sign the papers and enroll in school. Pope had to make an emergency flight to Philly to lockdown Amari Williams after he'd already been committed.
The national guys get their scoops from agents so they're typically the ones with the best info. But no one bats 1.000 when there's crazy money being thrown around. I think some UK fans put too much stock in the Twitter "insiders" as well. The ones with 60 followers that either get info from behind paywalls or just make **** up.

If you heard them be right anytime in the last 3-4 years its because they saw or heard the info elsewhere and passed it off as theirs.
They get nothing from uk. Nothing.
Ok, who are the insiders that do get info from UK? So I can know who to listen to.
Just wait and see and let the chips fall where they’re gonna. Tracking every move that gets made in the portal will drive you crazy.
Samuel is back, and he too thought LW was coming here. It was everyone duped. This was a big circle jerk of epic proportions. Agent drove the price up by getting UK on the kid. We weren’t even on him when they reached out.
This isn’t just Maggard or KSR, or HOB/Pilgrim, etc. it was literally everyone, including most IU insiders. Agent/camp was feeding “good vibes” info to everyone. Guess what, it worked like a charm.
DeVries made a special trip with an extra big bag of money just this morning to push it over the top (totally not necessary as the dude was not coming here anyway apparently). To boot, gave his buddy/trainer a job!? Wow man. Nice work agent. I’d be willing to bet Mark is weary of this guy moving forward.
To everyone who posted info, sources, inside scoop, intel, etc about LW coming to KY - we were completely used and ******. Info was actually legit, cause that is what they told everyone very indirectly.

There are none. Thats exactly what i said above. The only info that comes out is on the nil side and its tied to the player, not the school.
I have no doubt that IU dropped a bag we couldn't/wouldn't match and it changed everything. I think its important to note things can change in an instant now that money drives everything. So even though people said something, it well could've been right at the time.
All that said, pretty clear noone at ksr had a source on this other than something they read elsewhere.
Im glad that account is back because they absolutely have legit info waaaaay in front. Iirc that is an iteration of the same account the tweeted several days ahead that pope was getting hired. That in addition to countless other predictions.
I really wish we just heard someone visited us the next day it came out the visit went good and then he chose his school, if it happened that way with Wilkerson I wouldn't really care he went to Indiana, but that whole night he was coming to Kentucky and then boom he didn't. I wish there were no such thing as insiders and it just played out behind the scenes.
Hindsight always the explanation and applied too a complete failure of communication. We got played, and the so called insiders throwing info,and hoping it might stick . A process that Never ends to those" so called "on giving inside info .
They didnt get anything right last offseason either. Yet people still pay $ for their board.
KSR, while sometimes entertaining, has no idea about any of these scoops. I think they just watch Twitter and guess. No inside track.
Pretty simple don't read any thing about recruiting that should take care of your issues.
If money really was the difference then that’s pathetic on everyone’s part. ESPECIALLY if it was the case that we just didn’t want to match it but could. Letting a guy walk that could be the difference between winning the title and not even making a final four should be grounds for your seat getting warm.
I do chuckle when Matt says something and then asks one of them if they agree. Shannon the Dude is the only one who has the jewels to ever disagree with him.
