Maybe I am nuts but who the hell is the person that screams all game long? I hear he or she on every broadcast???

If you're nuts, so am I. In fact, I was going to post the same thing. This goes back to last year. If I were sitting anywhere this person (guessing a student) my head would explode.

Drives me absolutely nuts. Worse in person at AA but I also hear her on TV and radio broadcasts. Female NU student with dark hair sitting in the front row behind the basket. Someone should tell her (politely) to stop. Students, can you please help?

She has some pipes to be that loud, and I do like the enthusiasm. But it is really annoying.

Come on down to the “blue hair” section at Ryan Field. This is a regular occurrence, along with being asked to sit down on 3rd down, etc.

I side with those who find this particular person annoying as hell. As does my 14 year old step-daughter. "O.M.G. who IS that?!"

This is a little bit of a conundrum, isn't it? This is the kind of "Superfan" behavior that gets attention at a lot of the big programs. It is exactly what we wanted but now we don't want it. What would be an acceptable outrageous fan behavior?

Makes me wonder if some people found my Superfan behavior annoying.

Though my conduct was probably much different.

Nobody's complaining about fans being loud. Fans being loud is great. Emitting a dog-whistle frequency that makes anyone without a direct vested interest in a game (and some who do) want to turn it off immediately is the issue here.

To be honest, I did not notice it at all on the TV broadcast. Perhaps it was more apparent live?

I have a suspicion that the Screamer is also Left Shark a/k/a Shark Girl from last season. She was awfully excited a few games ago when they featured Shark Girl in highlights from last season on the video board. Maybe Rosemont doesn't allow costumes in the arena (except for Willie)?

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit I haven't noticed this screamer at the games. I'm kinda glad I haven't given how irritating she seems to be.
