Link worked just fine for me; thanks for sharing. You can see that they put the teams in general order of how most people can see the division playing out - USC and Mizzou fighting to staying out of the cellar, UK and Vandy above them, and UT, UGA, and UF above them.

On paper it's hard to get excited about a 4th place finish in the East, but it's definitely doable and would be a real step forward for the Cats.

I think they have Tennessee, Georgia, Florida about right, although they may be a little bit optimistic for Tennessee. They may be optimistic on Kentucky and Vandy. They are giving 5-7 as the worst case scenario for Kentucky, but I think 5-7 or maybe 6-6 is as good as it's going to get this year against our schedule. It is very difficult to guess about Missouri because of the coaching change, and because of the big upside of their sophomore quarterback Drew Lock.

Without a big upset win (i.e., @ AL, @ FL, @ TN, MSU and @ UofL) 8-4 is probably out of reach. But 7-5 is doable and that means 6-6 is very doable. Hard to overstate the importance of going bowling in 2016.

That's a blogger site. The "articles" are written by Joe Blows just like us. It's literally no different than any of our posts. Give it zero credence.

I don't see 6-6 as best case for UK. SEC East is a mess right now. 3 new coaches and coaching staffs in the East, another in their 2nd year and everything fell for them in 15, but apparently their best offensive weapon is going to be ineligible this fall, starting a new qb with no playmakers on offense, another starting his 3rd year, while improved over the 1st year. Stoops is tied with Jones as the longest tenured head coaches in the East.

The new coaches, I don't think Missouri's has been a head coach before, I know Kirby Smart hasn't and Muschamp was a failed head coach at UF and taking over a team with not near the defensive talent UF had and no playermakers on offense. I don't see UK's best case as 6-6, more like 8-4, but on the other side of the coin, I don't see the worse case 5-7 either. Good hires by UGA and Missouri could mean 4-8 as worst case. I don't see Muschamp being a good hire, he hired a staff more known for their recruiting than actual coaching and even that isn't going well at this point.

The only almost guaranteed losses are Alabama and Tennessee this year. So, 7 wins is very possible. People seem to forget that we should be better this year after barely losing to Florida the last two seasons - I believe that game is very winnable - not saying we will. Mississippi State lost a lot of talent last year - I think we win that game. Let's see we had UL 21 before we imploded and didn't make good half time adjustments - again I think that game is very winnable. So, this team will have a good chance to win a lot of games - but I also know we barely won a couple games we could have lost.

I think this is the year - it is year 4 of the Stoops learning and recruiting plan. I will go with 8 wins and keep my fingers crossed!

Go Big Blue!

Wrong. Calloway will be on the field for Florida. He will be back in school and with the team Summer B. Amazing you keep saying Florida has no playmakers.

We are just guessing here. I agree the SEC East is in a transition. But Kentucky won't be in a position to take advantage until 2017. The popular view on this board currently favors the 7-5 or 8-4 narrative for Kentucky in 2016. Hope springs eternal this time of year. My view is the minority view here, but I see another of those years coming when our fans are going to complain every week about Stoops. The truth is that we don't have nearly enough experience on our defense and it's going to hurt this year. Nobody wants Kentucky to win as much as I do, but I try to consider things realistically. If Stoops wins 6 games against our 2016 schedule with a sophomore quarterback and a new defensive front 7, he ought to be SEC coach of the year. I just don't see it. But 2017 will be a different story for us.

4-8 or 3-9 for this season. Schedule is very difficult and well this is UK football. A loss in week one is possible and would virtually eliminate UK from a bowl game. Don't worry basketball should be good this year.
