Campbell not looking as much like the dealer today that he was a week ago. He just gave up a bases loaded home run in the bottom of the first against Florida. He's walked another and has thrown more balls than strikes through 30 pitches. That's frustrating for us.

Campbell out of the game in the second inning. We could have used that last week. Florida up 5-0.
Arkansas has a rough road so far. Had to play the best two East teams on the road to start the SEC slate.

The reason he pitch so well vs UK was that Arkansas scored early and eventually supported him with a 14 run effort. Anytime, you have that kind of support you tend to relax and pitch better. Today, the Gators jumped on him early and he was a much different pitcher.
Could be a factor, but he was very sharp with some nasty pitches. He wasn't sharp in the first against Florida, throwing over 30 pitches and at least 16 of them were balls. He walked just 4 UK batters in 8 innings and walked 4 in one inning of work today. Just an entirely different first inning for him today than a week ago.
Ugly game today, but thankfully it is just one game. If somehow the Hogs can win tomorrow, it will be a 5-1 start with the Cats and Gators series completed, but then we go to Ole Miss next weekend.

Ole Miss wins series against A&M on the road. Georgia wins again against gamecocks. Miss state beat missouri in 15 innings on the road. LSU up on Candy early.

Also got a very favorable strike zone against UK , but the I hitting rocked our pitchers so it didn't matter
