You have to bet the farm on it.
Who starts on the mound in each game of our first SEC weekend series?

Well we know that Thompson will be on the bump on Friday. That is the guarantee as long as he is healthy.

I am one who tends to think that Hazelwood will go on Sunday and that Macciocchi will go on Saturday. However, by many reports I am already wrong, which isn't unsual. I have read that Ramsey is a big possibility for Saturday and IIRC the freshman Marsh was set for Sunday.

Friday is obviously Thompson but beyond that, my only guess is that the weekend rotation will change from the the opening weekend to March 15th against LSU

I would think so too, and will probably even change after that. At this point, I don't know that we have anyone after Thompson who has proven to be consistent enough to say for sure that they can lock down a weekend spot for the entire season.

Friday: Zach Thompson
Saturday: Ricky Vaughn
Sunday: Chet Steadman

In all seriousness, it’s anyone’s guess. I’d lean towards Marsh and Ramsey.

Will be surprised if not Ramsey initially...there was a few times last year when he looked excellent.

I like Ramsey, but I don't know that he had good enough secondary pitches to be a weekend starter. That could have changed, but I would have my reservations about him going 5+. Hazelwood was excellent in summer ball and was an All Star and seemingly unhittable. G-Mac is just kind of a favorite of mine, and I think he is a JUCO X-factor that could play two ways. Not sure if he'll fit into that role, but he has some experience, so we will see. At this point, it really is anyone's guess.

Isn't everyone forgetting about D Harper, he pitched quite a bit in 2018, and had some good moments.
