Looking forward tonthis weeks SEC Shorts

With Vandy's victory, they'll have their swagger back - LOL
They'll have something cooked up for LSU and Ole Miss after their losses.

I pretty much said the same thing on Saturday; can't remember where; probably in the CFB thread.

They've been having fun with Vandy this season, and you have to expect they'll continue that after the win over LSU.

Another great PSU insert with LSU undercover agent trying to pawn Kelly off to PSU, even promising he can quickly develop a Midwest accent. Of course the Vandy Signal (ala Bat Signal) sent out by the SEC commissioner for help was a good touch at the end.
Another good one.

At this rate SEC shorts might need to make PSU an associate or honorary member of the SEC. ;)

Something I just read (courtesy of Joe Bryant at footballguys.com)…

Side (but important) note: The SEC Shorts, like this column, are silly and goofy and really not important.

But shoutout to the woman in the clip, Chelsi Davis, who recently did something very not silly and not goofy and very important.

"Two months ago, Davis was notified that she was a bone marrow match for a patient in the United States fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Chelsi has been on the NMDP (formerly Be The Match) registry since 2017, when she signed up in memory of her grandmother, who passed away from leukemia in her 40s. Her grandmother wasn’t able to find a matching donor, so when Chelsi learned she could help someone else, she didn’t hesitate for a second.

Last week, she flew to Houston, where she donated stem cells from her blood over the course of two straight days. Those stem cells were immediately shipped to the patient’s hospital, where they’re now providing life-giving support in that patient’s fight against cancer.

Chelsi didn’t do any of this for praise or attention. In fact, the only reason she’s allowing us to share her story is the hope that it might encourage someone else to join the registry.

If you’re between the ages of 18–35 and want to sign up, you could be like Chelsi and help save someone’s life. Just follow the link below: http://my.nmdp.org"

Rock on, Chelsi.
