SEC struggles....

with 5 SEC teams hosting Super Regionals, 4 teams lost. Mississippi State loses 2 straight to Arizona. Florida gets shut out by FSU, South Carolina loses to Oklahoma State, LSU goes down to CCU, only A&M got a win and they lost the 1st game Friday night to TCU.
These teams could certainly come back and win their series, but odds are at least a couple more teams are going to fall short of getting to Omaha !

Baseball is a funny sport. It's all about who gets hot at the right moment. One thing I will say, Coastal Carolina can flat hit the ball. I don't think they have the pitching to beat LSU in the series but damn can they swing the bat.

On another note, I really like the way this UCSB team plays. Would love to see their coach here. Would still be nervous about him only having West Coast ties, but I love this type of baseball that he's put out there.

I would say there was a good chance of him being at UK before the Super Regional, but not now !

If FSU beats Florida tonight then zero SEC teams will be in Omaha. So much for the 7 hosts. I wonder when the last time no SEC teams made it to the finals.

SEC officially gone...... Texas Tech 3 Florida 2. Was the conference along with the Acc over rated, OR was the Big 12 under rated. Okla. State, TCU, and Tx Tech all still alive.
