SEC now has five (5) teams in the AP Top 25, as of this morning:
Vanderbilt 11
Alabama 13
Arkansas 15
Georgia 18
Tennessee 21

Others receiving votes:
LSU 14
Texas 12
Florida 11
Kentucky 9
Auburn 3

Question: Where would Auburn be if Bruce Pearl was still coaching ??

Also: Indiana received four (4) votes and St. John's was not among the forty-four (44) teams receiving a vote. Neither was Georgetown.

Just saw on X where EvanMiya projects UK to finish 7-11 in the SEC and to miss the NCAAT. Has us losing to UT, Florida, and Vandy at home and away. Also has UK losing to LSU on the road. Pope better work on his post-game losing attitude with Tom Leach. It could get a whole lot worse.

DAMN !!! 7-11 in League play would be AWFUL !!! Surely, we'll do better than that. I'm thinking 19-12, 10-8 finish, before the SEC tourney.
I hope the SEC is perceived as being pretty strong this year. If so, maybe a 10-8 league record will get us in the tournament. Let's hope so ...

That would get any other coach at any other blueblood today fired. Especially with so much money attached to the team. But at Kentucky? You have to be fearful that he gets a raise and an extension!

And JUST an extension but a LIFETIME contract.
