Here's a big stat from that first half...on free throws, NU is 10-11 while St. Peter's has yet to shoot one.

NU had nine turnovers in the first half, including four by Pardon, which I'm sure Collins isn't happy about. The Cats have a 17-9 edge on the boards and shot 50 percent, so if they had taken care of the ball, they'd have a big lead.

Skelly had 8 points, BMac 7 and Law 5 to lead NU.

St. Peter's has hit a couple TOUGH 3's that have kept them in it. Other than the turnovers and the tentative play while the subs were in, I don't have a lot of complaints. Solid defense for the most part.

Quick 3s by Skelly and Lindsey coming out of the break and suddenly it's 38-27 NU and St. Peter's takes a timeout.

We should be smoking this team. In the second half I expect we hand out a can of whoopass
